Cigarette Butt Box Project

Keepers of the Coast, is a St Augustine based 501(c )3 non-profit dedicated to local coastal preservation and clean up, in partnership with St Johns County Parks and Recreation, installed new cigarette butt disposal receptacles at the Fishing Pier on International Coastal Clean Up Day, September 19, 2009. The  first “Terry’s Spring Fling”, was hosted in March of 2013 in memory honor UF Pharmacy School Alumni, Terry Canfield, an amazing husband, father and grandfather who suddenly passed away April 20th, 2012. Terry’s passion for life, golf and most importantly his family continues to be an inspiration for the people who were lucky enough to be a part of his life. This tournament brings us together celebrate the people who make other’s lives better.
